Every year a lifelong friend of mine hosts a summer party which we call Comprestival. It’s got a bouncy house, fireworks, live music, friends, family, and of course – a big roasted hog.

This year was the biggest one yet. So big that it had to be out in the middle of some fields in the middle of nowhere, south of Indianapolis. I had intended to take pictures throughout the night, but ended up being too busy catching up with people that I hadn’t seen for years. I did take some shots of the band Perfect Teeth, a band composed of a number of old high school friends. Below you’ll see a scattering of pictures of Perfect Teeth, with a couple shots of my sons. You’ll also see that a few are duplicates, some in color while others are in black and white. If you know anything about the kind of photography I like, you know that I typically prefer the black and white shots. But color can be nice, too.
