It’s been a while since I’ve posted anything. Quite honestly, I haven’t really been pulling my camera out as much as I have in the past. These days I find myself pulling out my iPhone 5S to take shots more than either of my two cameras. Life is whizzing by. It’s hard enough to remember to take shots on my camera phone. My two boys are getting big and keep me busy, and I haven’t been able to get out of the house as much.
However, today I took a work day at a coffee shop in Edgewater, a neighborhood in Chicago, and I snapped just a few shots. Some with my iPhone and some with my Pentax K-01 with my manual 28mm lens.
Stopped by one of my favorite coffee shops today, Metropolis Coffee Company. I’ve recently become very fond of cortados and I ordered one for myself today.
Beautiful sky today. As I wandered through Edgewater I thought this building was neat. Balconies on the corner of the building.
As an avid Instagram user these days, I’ve grown quite used to thinking in squares.
These flowers seem to embody what the weather felt like today. It was so pleasant.
Here’s a flower barely soaking in the sun’s rays.
The wind was a blowin’ and the flags were a wavin’
The sky was filled with expanding puffs of white clouds today.
I thought this Starbucks looked unique. No inside seating. Only a drive thru and outdoor seating.
This seemed suspicious.
